15 Jul 2013Wonderful!
Long back Honey Bee published articles how people use rejected truck tyres for fish rearing, hedge/boundary making in crop fields, some people use these as chairs in Roadside Dhabas, swings for babies by working ladies at crop fields. In Odisha these old truck tyres are widely used as robust food tray for pigs in native pig rearing.
In our 17th Sodhyatra, in Koraput, Odisha, Honey Bee honored villagers using plastic threads from rejected fertilizer bags/ rice packets to make wonderful fishing nets, robust enough for fishing in sea and running rivers.
The idea can do wonder in our not so flourishing economy.
