25 Oct 2012Very neat research work. I m in the business of signage, display structures, retail fixtures, etc, and welding is an important part of my work.
Would definitely like to exchange notes, especially if u come across new technologies and approaches

29 Oct 2012really nice work man……….i kind of recalled my 1st year when I myself had a lab course on welding……..hopefully the safety issue is dealt with so that people involved in this job are aware of its hazards…….

30 Oct 2012Hi Karan, one of the solutions we were thinking of was a thin film that can be stuck to normal sun goggles to make them more protective against ultraviolet rays. That’s something a Chemical Engineer like yourself or Material Science Engineers can come up with. Look forward to your support in this matter. Cheers!
